Types of Glass Fusing are similar to quilting, in that many different pieces of glass are assembled into a design and fused together, while quilting consists of many different blocks of fabric stitched together.

Quilted Amber was inspired by an African quilt design. The top shelf measures 18" X 7.5", and the bottom shelf measures 18" X 10" resting on custom handmade steel brackets by Kevin Kitzman. A balanced combination of amber and silver gray is featured, pairing black and white iridescent glasses to mimic the different patterns of textiles used in quilt making.
